A new boutique hotel group is coming to Brussels _

We are coming to the Brussels' market and we are coming strong. We are currently refurbishing 3 hotels to open between June 2023 and March 2024.


To make this big project a successful one, we are looking for a motivated soul to supervise the operations on the different properties.

What are we expecting from you ?_

As an Operations Leader, you will be the real pillar of the reception. Your working hours will be divided between shifts at the reception desk and back-office work.

You will be responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day management of the hotels and will report directly to the company manager.


You will be the point of contact for the reception team and you will be an essential player in the smooth running of the reception.

Your attitude represents and transmits the values of hospitality to our guests.

This means that you are expected to be on the ground to support the operational teams and to hear directly from our guests about their feelings and comments.

Here is a list of the tasks that fall under your responsibility:


  • Operational Management:_
  • Regularly working in the reception doing shifts.
  • Supervising the reception team: training, development and organization.
  • Leads and coordinates the reception team, taking an active part in the tasks of the reception.
  • Ensures effective communication.
  • Maintains effective collaboration between the reception and the external housekeeping.
  • Controls the respect of the internal S.L.A. related to the welcoming of the guest.
  • Management of any objections and/or remarks from the guest, guaranteeing guest satisfaction in direct collaboration with the reception team.
  • Follow up on maintenance issues to solve them or to call the subcontractor in charge.
  • Main point of contact for the housekeeping operational issue.
  • Finance & Administration:_
  • Control of daily closings and cash flows.
  • Management of the cash in the hotel.
  • Responsible for the followup of debtors and possible open PM's.
  • Control of commissions.
  • Responsible for the purchases and related budget ratios.
  • Commercial relations and guest service:_
  • Management of individual reservations.
  • Reception and handling of the guest from arrival to departure according to internal procedures.
  • Management of telephone calls and the hotel's mailbox.
  • Anticipating and taking into account the needs of our guests

Who are we looking for?_

You are a hospitality fellow:
you love to welcome people at home, you're a true host.

Having a hospitality degree is an advantage

You speak French, English & Dutch

You can work autonomously and you are stress resistant

You have the habit to work with a computer

You have at least 2y+ experience in the hospitality industry
