The Project Leader ensures execution of all projects in me, budget and scope, keeping in mind legal obligations, AL standards, quality and best practices.

Depending on the type of project the project engineer can have the role of project leader or project manager. As project manager he/she will focus on costs, communication and lead me. The Project Leader ensures the implementation of the environmental legislation, works in line with the ISO 14001 standard, respects the good environmental practices and shows a positive attitude with regard to the preservation of the environment


How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

1.


Project Scope & definition:

- verifies the documents provided by Sales : Clear Scope, Design Basis, technical requirements,...
- freezes design basis
- defines total cost of ownership, Sales uses this to obtain budget
- provides Risk Assessment validated by the Risk manager if necessary
- is the central contact point different internal identities

Study & design:

- reviews contract and design basis with Sales rep, resulting in technical offers

  • Prepares procurement specifications
- follows up & evaluates risk assessment plan
- integrates and validates integration of installation
- obtains validation from Design Authority or uses validated standard designs
- defines interface for utilities and process of customer
- identifies the Safety Devices
- provides specific technical details to Sales

Realization installation:

- negotiates and respects deadline customer as much as possible
- puts project into execution when budget has been released
- orders and receives necessary parts
- prepares construction meeting
- construct installation with internal AL people or external pares

  • Project review in case of change of scope, inform the stakeholders, ask for an additional budget if needed.

Start up & handover:

- supervises start up or delegates to competent pares with facility manager and SHE responsible, including testing of the pressure systems
- completes technical files and hands them over to operations
- closes project for billing
- provides feedback on projects with Sales Rep
- provides necessary information to maintenance teams for implementation maintenance plans on invested equipment
- determines working budget for continuous maintenance purposes
- communications completion of investment orders to accounting / investment control to allow proper and timely activation of purchased assets

During Project:


  • Provides billing information
- organizes the needed meetings
- handles internal and external communication
- follows up planning and budget

  • Reports anomalies

After Transfer:

- remains available for improvements
- ensures guarantees
- provides support in case of malfunction to operational teams

- experience in project management
- good planning and budget management
- able to handle stress
- organized and rigorous

- fluent in French and good command of English
