**The U.S. Embassy in Brussels is looking for a Purchasing Agent to join the team.

**Description de la fonction
**Incumbent works on the team of four Agents who process purchase orders, delivery orders, negotiate prices and prepare contracts for various commodities and services. The position is strongly customer service oriented and includes daily interactions with multitude of vendors and customers from the U.S. Embassy, U.S. Mission to the European Union, U.S. Mission to NATO and affiliated agencies.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Option A:

Minimum of two years of university studies required and 2 years of experience in procurement, or in related work in commercial, legal, or accounting fields.

Option B:

Completion of secondary school and 4 years of experience in procurement, or in related work in commercial, legal, or accounting fields.

LANGUAGE:
Good working knowledge in English. Fluency in French OR Dutch.
