He aha te mahi? What's the role?:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our global team.

Reporting to the European Marketing Manager and to the Regional Market Manager Benelux, this role is responsible for all marketing initiatives in Benelux.

The Marketing Manager will define, implement and monitor marketing plans in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg which contributes to the further development of the Zespri brand position and the support of sales throughout the Benelux market and the wider European region.

In order to optimize long-term results to growers and Zespri from the portfolio of cultivars & products, The Marketing manager will define, implement and monitor marketing plans to drive sales and brand results.

Key Responsibilities include:

Act as the champion for the Benelux market & marketing strategy, within the framework of Zespri's Global and Regional Sales and Marketing objectives.
Lead and develop the Market Plans for Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg in collaboration with the Marketing Manager Europe and the Market Manager Benelux that will grow long term consumer demand and meet Zespri objectives.
Coordinate all marketing initiatives (ATL and BTL) for Benelux with local agencies and internal EU marketing team.
Evaluate and respond to consumer & shopper research, market conditions and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
Monitor and report on marketing activities and results to key internal and external stakeholders.
Together with the Market Manager Benelux lead and contribute to the wider Sales & Marketing team efforts to grow our business
Controlling and manage the A&P budget to optimize the overall budget cost effectiveness including tracking and invoices follow up.
Lead, motivate and develop support staff.

We are looking for a proven brand marketing/product management expert who possess a broad set of marketing activities (ATL and BTL).

Being passionate about all aspects of marketing you will also have:

6+ years experience in marketing roles within FMCG, Consumer Products or Retail
Experience with SAP (advantageous)
Proficiency in Consumer and Shopper research (Quanti and Quali)
Strong analytical skills to lead the local research and attain insights
Team management experience
Fluency in Dutch & English (both written and verbal)
Position located in Berchem, need to spend minimum 2 days in the Berchem office
