The Service Logistics Center of Excellence (CoE) is a lean team of highly motivated individuals across the globe, focusing on business initiatives that will enable delivery of the SL strategic objectives.

The CoE will always be forward looking, constantly identifying how best practices and innovation can be brought into the SL way of working.

The team leads and sets the agenda for product development/digitalization, business solutions and analytics for Service Logistics globally.

Your key accountabilities include:

  • Reporting to the VP Center of Excellence, this person will be responsible for delivering on the productization strategy of Service Logistics globally.
  • Drive the entire innovation journey of product/process development activities for a selected number of initiatives prioritized by the Global Service Logistics Board. This includes new products, product enhancements, crossfunctional process innovation, digitalization solutions or process optimization support.
  • Deliver solutions through the full lifecycle of product development from ideation, to design, delivery to industrialization and commercialization.
  • Act as catalyst to encourage employees to generate new product concepts/process innovations in line with strategic objectives, leveraging virtual or physical forums to enable best practice and opportunities sharing.
  • Support the CCO function in articulating the Service Logistics value proposition and drive the marketing of product innovations.
  • Support and drive communication activities about product changes towards new and existing customers.
  • Put in place an effective feedback mechanism to capture customer feedback and ideas for continuous product improvement.
  • Effective stakeholder management collaborate with regional, global and functional stakeholders to define and establish strategic initiatives, develop the business case and ensure adequate delivery.
  • Drive change management through effective communication
  • Track the knowledge transfer and communication activities performed by the product training and communication cell.
  • Obtain deep understanding of the sales & business development processes, and the customer experience; identify initiatives that improve customer experience and/or drive internal efficiencies within the sales process and ensure this is incorporated in the sales toolkits for new products
  • Drive standardization and efficiencies for product related communication and knowledge management
  • Establish performance measurements for internal processes and prioritize and drive continuous improvement efforts

  • Experience in delivering complex solutions in a matrix organisation across geographical boundaries
  • Working experience in an international logistics environment in transport and operations roles
