For our office in Lommel we are looking for a
Management Accountant

Job Overview:

• Assist in the production of timely and accurate Monthly Management Accounts (Including P&L, Fixed Assets Register, Capex Review)
• Produce timely and accurate weekly/monthly management information and commercial performance reviews
• Develop reports and analysis to drive forward commercial understanding, business performance and help make commercial decisions on key measures such as customer type, price group, product and mix of supply
• Control and manage monthly provisions for inclusion in periodic management accounts
• Provide timely and accurate ad hoc reporting to Senior Management and Group Board members
• Analysis and reporting of revenue, costs and profitability across product range and customer mix
• Evaluation of new customers and future business opportunities
• Assist the Plant Financial Controller with review/ analysis of operational costs as well as margins, providing insight to the Commercial and Operational teams
• Support initiatives and drive systems/process to remove manual and repetitive tasks, improve analysis and information for decision making and further developments in line with business strategy
• Weekly reporting schedules as well as production of weekly sales reports
• Assist with managing the demand planning process, coordinating with Commercial Teams as well as finance
• Provide Insight to discuss impacts of changes to the forecast
• Review and challenge accuracy of forecasting
• Provide variance analysis of actuals vs budget and variations
• Supporting the budgeting process
• Any other duties as the business requires

Specialized Qualifications/ Skills:

• Recognised accounting qualification;
• 12 years post qualified experience;
• Advanced Excel skills; system experience an advantage;
• Strong analysis skills, able to analyse and interpret critical information
• Experience in manufacturing would be highly desirable although not essential
