Your role:

As a Manager of Policy, you will work on policy and regulatory developments in Europe.

As a Policy Manager, you will be a dynamic public policy professional with an excellent understanding of the EU policy context (including but not limited to tech), and deep understanding of the key policy issues affecting the tech industry at both EU and national levels.


You will contribute to ITI's Europe work with planning, organization and execution of all programs and activities within your portfolio, such as weekly communications activities, meeting preparation, and planning and coordinating meeting requests and speaker invitations, in cooperation with the rest of the EU team and other global teams.


You are a self-starter, a creative thinker and collaborative colleague who, consistent with the companies we represent, seeks positive and innovative ways to achieve both the industry's policy objectives and governments' public policy goals.

You will work closely with the rest of ITI's EU team based in Brussels as well as the global policy team in Washington, DC.


Your responsibilities:


  • Drafting policy positions, submissions, internal briefings on policy issues within your portfolio, and support the global policy team on the same set of issues in other regions as needed.
  • Monitoring and anticipating relevant policy and regulatory developments in Brussels,
- and EU Member States to a lesser degree and conducting legislative research and analysis of issues that impact members.

  • Presenting ITI's views in externalfacing meetings with policymakers and at events.
  • Communicating regularly and in a clear and concise manner with ITI and its members regarding the significance of such developments.
  • Coordinate the preparation of ITI Europe internal and external weekly and monthly updates in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Providing meeting support for the Europe Committee meetings, including scheduling, participation, meeting space and logistics, meeting operations including readahead materials, meeting notes and action items.
  • Identifying, developing and implementing ways to improve ITI Europe's processes and providing general support as needed.
  • Working closely with both ITI's SVP and the other team members in the Brussels office, and with colleagues in Washington, DC, supervising the activities of an EU Fellow, and acting as a resource for information and engagement for our member companies in Europe.

Your qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree in public administration, public policy, political science, law, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 34 years' experience with relevant policy issues, and in public policy in Europe and Member State governments. Experience in interacting with the EU institutions is a must.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and another European language.
  • Knowledge of EU public policy issues, ability to work independently and collaboratively and to engage team members to facilitate successful results.
