With passion for our business, the Senior Manager, People & Culture Business Partner contributes to and implements the organization's People & Culture strategy to attract, manage, develop and retain the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives.


In this role you act as a link between business leaders and the People & Culture organization, you leverage the appropriate HR solutions to facilitate and enable the achievement of the goals of the Supply Chain team on the production & Logistics site in Gent.


You will work in close cooperation with internal People Services and other HR center of expertise to provide the business with an effective service, based on a deep understanding of the business environment, strategy and people management implications.

You will report to the People & Culture Director of Belux. The location for this role is in Gent with occasional travelling to our head office in Anderlecht.


Your job will involve:


  • The Senior Manager, People & Culture Business Partner liaises with the local Management team to develop and implement the People & Culture strategies that are appropriate for their business needs in line with the organization's overall People & Culture strategy.
  • You are responsible for different projects and are the sparring partner concerning organizational development, team effectiveness, sustainable employability and innovation.
  • Also you advice and support the management team in career planning, individual development, performance management and succession planning processes.
  • In case of employee relations cases, such as performance issues, separations and long term absence you take the lead and guide the management in order to enable solutions and improvements
  • You work closely with your other colleagues People & Culture Business Partners and the colleagues of our HR Center of Excellence. A good cooperation with our social partners is crucial for you.
  • You manage the labour relations and build constructive ralation with local unions representatives.

Your profile:


  • You obtained a higher degree and have a relevant HR Generalist experience in an industrial environment.
  • As a change manager, your influencing skills and your ability to drive change, innovation and engagement characterize you.
  • You are fully familiar with work councils and working with unions and safety commitees.
  • You balance a handson approach with knowing how to think and act strategically/tactically, based on sound knowledge of the business needs and the best practices within HR.
  • You combine a strong personality and communication skills with a professional, mature and discrete attitude.
  • You want to play a significant and positive role in effective collaboration with other HR functions and HR BP's.
  • You demonstrate genuine passion for our fast paced, fast moving business.
  • You have a good knowledge of French and English.
