We are now looking for a Network Project Engineer in the IT Ops EMEA Team.

This position will report to our IT Ops EMEA support lead in Wilrijk - Belgium.

You will be part of the IT Ops EMEA project team and will together with your colleagues help in delivering projects with the needed quality and sense of urgency.

Mission
Together with your colleagues in the project team you will ensure the stability & compliance of the infrastructure and services related to the network solutions (LAN, WLAN, SDWAN,)

By standardizing and improving the environment, the team and you
- ensure operational readiness by documenting known issues, processes and reviewing them. You also make sure that support teams have received a workshop.

Through the configuration management process, you ensure we have a full inventory of the assets and components involved in the services.

You will be involved in projects related to network operational improvements and onboarding of new technologies and solutions.

Knowledge

You have proficient knowledge off:

Cisco LAN & WLAN technologies
WAN : both MPLS & SDWAN
General network knowledge : Routing, Subnetting, VLAN, SNMP etc.
Ideally also knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP etc.
Z-Scaler
External DNS and PKI certificates
Checkpoint Firewall
Cisco Prime / ISE
Linux
Service Now
Working within projects

Educational Requirements

You are passionate about technology and more specific technologies around network
Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must (+ Dutch or French)
ITIL Certification or acquired experience
Technology certifications are a plus
