As a Battery Cell Management Expert, you will:

Develop demonstrators of new confidential concepts spearheading the industry
Translating academic experience into product development advancing the TRL (Technology Readiness Level)
Collaborate with external industry and research partners to introduce new technologies and develop early business opportunities supported by the Melexis marketing managers advancing the CRL (Commercial Readiness Level)
Develop new IP and drive the patent filing process with the Melexis IP team
Lead or strongly contribute to the entire process from ideation to prototype validation and product definition with further career opportunities in the same field in the product development, the business unit or new R&D topics in development engineering or innovation teams.

Your profile:

You have a PhD in the field of Liion battery cell technology
Industry experience is a plus, but not a must
You have experience in electrochemical characterization methods (e.g. electrical impedance spectroscopy [EIS], cyclic voltammetry [CV],)
You have a thorough understanding of electrical engineering (circuit design)
You are familiar with public funding proposals and budgeting (time, effort, financial)
You are passionate about Liion electrochemistry
