Main duties and responsibilities

  • Accurate account management delivering field objectives:
  • Delivery of country sales targets, gain new business targets and cross sell GB products to existing accounts.
  • Manage a portfolio of about 400 stores delivering of >2.000 customer's visit per year fully documented in CRM and followup on field activities set for none managed merchants.
  • Optimise performance in your portfolio to achieve Refund Ratio, Hit Rate and any other sales targets taking corrective action when result materially deviates from expected.
  • Win and develop new business. (Tax Free Shopping
  • Diplomat Service
  • Military Service)
  • Improve merchants knowledge and expertise with our services and followup on activities to maximize TFS business (IR and RR management) and DCC business (Hit Rate management).
  • Deliver to the stores the activities that have been agreed with the merchant's HQ on IT integration to develop the ideal flow of TFS and DCC at our merchants.
  • Follow and use internal tools and procedures to optimise the level of account management.
Reporting and collaboration

  • You will work closely with the BeLux account, telesales, admin
- and sales support team. Specially with the account managers responsible for the strategic relationship for your stores on HQ level. For optimal sales results we work at Global Blue in Sales Force (CRM).

Main KPI's

  • EBITDA country
  • New business for TFS, DTF, Military service, DCC and Marketing
  • Retention of Merchants and optimise performance through TFS Refund Ratio and Issue Ratio, DCC Hit Rate en Gross Turnover
  • Keep control on bad depts and any outstanding invoices from your Merchants
  • Integrations and online projects (Transformation from manual issuing to digital)
  • Cross selling to existing accounts
  • Sales Force compliance
Preferable skills and competencies

To be successful in the role you

  • Are resultsorientated with a proven track record of achieving targets and the ability to work closely in a team.
  • Are flexible as this position is hybrid and with the requirement to go into our offices as and when appropriate and required.
  • Can be creative to connect with merchants in relevant, unique and personalized ways, persistence to demonstrate value to merchants.
  • Good customer and interpersonal verbal and oral communications skills and able to build sustainable relations and influence our partners.
  • Have a problem solving attitude and understanding the art of questioning.
  • Have fair knowledge on IT and POS systems, in order to implement the ideal flow.
  • Have good knowledge of MS Office products and CRM software.
  • Possess good time management skills, can demonstrate ability to prioritize.
  • Are ambitious and hardworking, with a genuine hunger for success.
Business Knowledge/Educational Background

  • Preferred retail experience.
  • HBO level of education and fluent in Dutch and good in English, written and spoken (French is a plus).
Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of account management ideally in the FMCG, retail or financial services.
