A new Senior Accountant job has just become available for an international and leading firm in Zaventem. The Accountant plays a key role in the new finance organization.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:

• The Accountant will be a driven force for the implementation of a fast documented monthly process supported by business information and data
• Ensures good data quality by monitoring internal controls
• Monitors and coordinates the corporate financial & non financial reporting to HQ
• Involved in corporate taxation, Vat and other legislation
• He/she is in contact with the business units and acts proactively on outstanding issues and questions of the business units.

Profile of the Senior Accountant:

• Degree in finance (accountancy, economics, audit)
• Has a hands-on proven experience, preferably within an international environment
  in all-round accounting and has experience with monthly closings
• Experience with multiple IT systems and data management
• Good understanding & experience in different aspects of finance
• Experience with change management, lean processing is an asset
