We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in Diegem, Brussels, Belgium.


Job Purpose:


  • Implement best local / subregional category specific strategies based on internal business requirements. Work closely with local business and sub/regional procurement teams to ensure identify and recommend ́best in class ́ suppliers and maintain good relationships with Business Partners. Prepare and lead supplier negotiations at local level.

Your tasks:


  • Provide professional sourcing support for business initiatives, supply market research & intelligence to support business decisions in investments and establishment of local procurement contracts. Identification of strategic sourcing opportunities and development and management of strategic suppliers is a key
  • Integrate Procurement services at country level for the business colleagues (divisions) in scope. Achieving greatest value contribution, benefit realization and efficiency from all procurement activities and ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price and service
  • Specialize in strategic sourcing of goods and services in order to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business / function in scope in line with the DPDHL Sustainability Roadmap
  • Cooperate actively with purchasing function to ensure knowledge and information sharing between stakeholders, suppliers and procurement

Your profile:


  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
  • Knowledge in Business Relationship is a plus
  • Less than 2 years in a similar role
  • Fluent Dutch & English, both spoken and written
