Job description:


As a Banking Operations Team Leader, you will assume a team leadership role essential to ensuring a smooth and efficient process of onboarding new customers into the bank's credit and lending services.

Your mission is to drive employee engagement, ensure the team achieves its objectives and maintain a high level of service, which involves stimulating the interest of potential customers, explaining banking services, collecting and verifying enrolment documents and ensuring customer satisfaction.


Main responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and mentor a team of 10 employees, fostering a dynamic and creative work environment.
  • Set clear goals and priorities and actively monitor progress to achieve desired results.
  • Cultivate a culture of feedback and create an ongoing development plan for team members.
  • Collaborate with management to improve procedures and increase operational efficiency.
  • Act as point of contact for sensitive internal and external files.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Use your expertise in MS Office and various IT tools for effective team management.

Education and Certifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification: Febelfin certification (nice to have).
  • Language skills: Written and spoken Dutch and French, thorough knowledge of English.
  • Experience: At least 3 years' relevant managerial experience, including technical and commercial expertise in call center management, operational management and sales.

  • Strong communication, diplomacy and customer orientation.
  • Ability to work independently, manage stress and adapt flexibly.
  • Problemsolving mentality, accuracy and precision.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills, with an emphasis on empowerment and a sales mindset.

  • 50% onsite: Brussels
