The Client, in partnership with Commission services and other stakeholders, provides high-quality corporate Business Solutions (Information Systems), common frameworks and interoperable, reusable components enabling the successful implementation of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies.

The Client defines and provides the capabilities required to deliver high-quality IT solutions, and creates and maintains talent pools (competence centres) from which development project teams can be composed.

These resources share a common, agile development culture with high-quality standards.

Based on these pools and considering the requirements of project owners, the Client executes the projects of internal customers as well as external customers if decided by the Priority Management Board.

As the position might require access to SNC (Sensitive Non-Classified) data, only the CVs of EU citizens will be considered**.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

The following tasks will be performed:

Definition of test plans and test cases
Construction of test scenarios and scripts
Execution of tests
Test coordination
Reporting of test results
Resolving incidents and problems escalated to the development team as 3rd level of support

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

The minimum educational qualification is the level of education corresponding to Level 6 of the European Qualification Framework which typically corresponds to a
bachelor's degree of 3 years or 3 years of higher education.

IT or relevant technical degree.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
The following knowledge is required for the performance of the above-listed tasks:

Hands-on experience in the manual Testing
Knowledge of a Test Management Tool
Knowledge of a Defect Tracking tool
Experience in test data preparation, preferably with SQL databases

The following skills are required for the performance of the above-listed tasks:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good redaction skills, experience in the preparation of written reports
The capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability, and experience in working in a team
Ability to participate in multilingual meetings
Ability to work in a multicultural environment, on multiple large projects
Excellent Team Player
Ability to understand, speak and write English at level B
Ability to understand, speak and write French at level B1 is an advantage

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:
