Proximus Bold 2025 strategy, 5G & private mobile networks are fundamental elements of the second pillar: "Deploy the best gigabit network in Belgium".

With regard to our mobile network, we are facing many challenges:

the consolidation of the access network, the roll-out of the new access provider (outdoor and indoor) and core network, the roll-out of 5G, the commercialization of private mobile networks.

We also market a number of B2B network solutions such as mobile continuity services, emergency services for Astrid, VoWiFi, VoLTE, Mobile Indoor Coverage Solutions.

Your assignment is about 5G / mobile private networks.


In this role you report to the
Product Owner who is responsible for the "Mobile Network and Indoor Coverage" squad and to the Chapter Owner & Product Owner Lead of the Mobile cluster, within EBU/ESP tribe.


Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • In your role, you follow market developments in the field of mobile networks (B2B), market/customer needs and competitive initiatives. To do this, you look for information from various sources such as technology partners, presales specialists, market research, etc.
  • You determine the vision and strategy for your solution. To this end, you formulate scenarios and consider the risks and benefits of each scenario, after which you defend your recommendation internally and to senior management. You ensure that your recommendation is in line with and has an impact on the strategic direction of the Proximus Group.
  • You manage the short and medium term roadmap of your area of responsibility and actively participate in the development and launch of solutions, from a strategic, technical, financial and commercial point of view.
  • You evangelize your roadmap and your solutions at all levels, internally and externally if necessary. You simplify your products if necessary.
  • You request and defend the budgets needed to develop and evolve your products. You make the business case for new products.
  • You manage the budget and forecasts for your activity domain. You closely follow the real figures, explain deviations from the plan and, if necessary, draw up an action plan to close the deviation.
  • You work with the marketing department, segments & sales to define and execute the marketing plan for your products to achieve the objectives.
  • You support and contribute to the digital transformation and the implementations of new IT platforms related to your business domain (PMIT mobile).
  • You work closely with other departments (NBU, Finance, CUO, Marketing, Digital, Pricing, Sales,...).
  • You support the team of business developers and presales specialists in 5G / MPN with your expertise in Mobile Private Networks.
  • You contribute to the selection of partners who will provide services and solutions to Proximus regarding these private mobile network services.
Profile


Must Have:


  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Telco product management (product launch/management and/or project management and/or Business Development).
  • Indepth knowledge of mobile networks and more specifically of Mobile Private Networks.
  • Proven experience in the B2B market.
  • Strong technical background.

  • Trilingual (FR, NL, EN).
