Optima Solutions Application & Advanced Process Manager (Adhesives & Sealants)


PPG, a global leader in coatings and specialty materials, is seeking an experienced
Optima Solutions Application & Advanced Process Manager to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will oversee a team of 6 Optima Solutions Launch Specialists and be responsible for overseeing resources, managing product launches, and providing expert problem-solving support within the Optima Solutions organization.


Role Overview:

Deployment and Coordination: You will deploy associates to projects, collaborating closely with commercial leads and onsite service teams.

Secure Launch Monitoring: Ensure the utilization of Secure Launch practices and monitor launch activities alongside Optima Solutions Managers.

Resource Prioritization: Prioritize and deploy Launch specialists to support critical launch activities.
-
Strategic Staffing: Work with Optima Solutions Senior Managers to staff and manage resources for business gains.

Vision for Resourcing: Create a vision for future resourcing to support launch activities and paid services.

One PPG Engagement: Support and engage in One PPG initiatives and opportunities.

Collaboration: Work closely with Technical, Operations, and Optima Solutions associates to drive actions.


Requirements:

-
Travel: 10-50% travel required.
-
Education: Degree in Science or Business discipline.

Experience:

years in the Adhesive and Sealants (A&S) industry.

  • Strong knowledge of the A&S portfolio.

Leadership: Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
-
Communication: Excellent communication skills.
-
Languages: Proficiency in English; French is a plus.
