Introduction to Role:

Join us at AstraZeneca as a Patient Safety Manager and shape the future of our International markets.

This role reports into the France Patient Safety Director & Cluster Lead, including France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and The Netherlands.

As the Patient Safety Manager for the Belgian affiliate, you will act as the PV contact person for Belgium and Luxembourg, handling or supervising the pharmacovigilance activities in these countries.

You will also act as deputy of the Netherlands Patient Safety Manager and help manage the Netherlands affiliate's pharmacovigilance activities.

Accountabilities:

As a Patient Safety Manager, you will ensure compliance with both AZ requirements and global and local regulatory requirements for patient safety.

You will maintain oversight of all safety-related processes, issues, and brand activities within your country, including product risk management plans and associated activities.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that local processes, procedures, and systems are in place for recording, processing, multiplying up and translation of AEs from spontaneous and solicited sources.

Crucial Skills/Experience:

Degree Qualified

Medical / Industrial Pharmacy must have:
Detailed knowledge and experience of pharmacovigilance within the pharmaceutical industry
Extensive experience in relationship and partner management
Extensive knowledge of the current pharmacovigilance and regulatory developments
Leadership skills, including confirmed leadership of project teams experience
Demonstrated ability to set and balance priorities, resource goals and project initiatives
Ability to influence strategically to acquire desired outcomes while maintaining effective, positive organisational relationships

Native/proficient in English, French and Dutch - must have

Desirable Skills/Experience:

Experienced reputation within the business and industry
Extensive knowledge of the latest technical and regulatory expectations
Experience in working crossfunctionally
Excellent attention to detail
