Our state-of-the-art systems are adapted to the ever higher demands of an evolving market, and have been implemented in newly built and refurbished healthcare institutions across the world.

Topic

Televic Healthcare (THC) offers professional communication systems within the care sector for nurse call, patient localization and mobile alarming. it is important that installation of those system happens seamlessly. Therefore a diagnostic tool is required to check prerequisites of the server and IT environment.

In this thesis, you will:
Extend the existing ASA tool with diagnostic information.

Make an android app to in-place check networking functionalities

An AQURA deployment consists of a Windows server that is connected over ethernet with a large array of Televic proprietary devices.

Deployment is done by third-party technicians. Not necessarily by people with a lot of systems and Networking knowledge. With these tools we want to simplify problem analysis.

1 The ASA tool is an existing tool used to verify server capabilities. Extend this tool with additional tests.

Eg:
does the server meet performance requirements (RAM/CPU/HDD performance). Check firewall settings, network settings...

2 Create a new android app from scratch.

This APP can be connected in place of a Televic proprietary device using an USB2Ethernet convertor or a wireless access point.

The app confirms all parameters relevant for a device are met.

Eg:
can find the server, NTP is working, network performance, etc.

If time permits both tools could be extended with features like: detect all devices on the network segment,..
