Function:

In order to support the growth of 3E's Strategy & Policy activities, we are looking for an enthusiastic young professional who is passionate about renewable energy.

You will be
advising public and private sector clients on their strategic decisions related to future developments in renewable energy. You will be thinking creatively of all the policies and strategies needed to make renewable energy the dominant source of energy in the next 10 years.

You will be working within an experienced, Brussels-based team. Our main clients are the European Commission, Belgian federal and regional governments, and European companies.

Your main tasks will be:

You will
provide technical assistance to local or regional authorities

You will
write policyrelevant recommendations

You will
engage in stakeholder consultations

You will
engage in capacitybuilding in challenging markets

You will
make technoeconomic assessments

You will
use optimisation models to quantify our recommendations.

Profile:

We are looking for a dynamic colleague who has a broad interest and a creative mind, straddling the worlds of technology, finance and policy with ease.

Of course, there are some non-negotiables:

You have a
master's degree in economics, finance, engineering or policy

You have
at least one prior professional experience in renewable energy and/or policy,
and/or have obtained a PhD

You are
fluent in French and English, both oral and written.
You have
project management skills and
combine strong technical knowledge with strong communication skills

You are a
team player, with a sense for initiative, clientfocused and work rigorously

You are a
proficient user of MS Office, including Excel and PPT.
