Clinical Trial Assistant

Job Description:

Your main responsibility is to provide administrative support for clinical studies, executed by the Clinical Pharmacology Unit Antwerp.

As a Clinical Trial Assistant, you will administer, maintain and coordinate the logístical aspects of clinical trials according to Good Clinical Practice and relevant SOPs.

Your tasks:

Administrative tasks within the framework of a project

Support the clinical trial project team with tasks such as
General logistics support
Ordering of study related meals
Source documents filing and archiving
Preparation of study specific binders
Support during monitoring visits
Ensures completion of study specific Case Report Forms (CRF) by
Completing and correcting source data, where applicable
Manual source data entry in paper CRF where applicable
Electronic source dataentry in SGS or sponsor Electronic Data Capture systems
Resolving queries

Attends and contributes to team and staff meetings

Qualifications:

What do you need to be successful?

Diploma secretary or medical secretary, or equal experience in medical and/or administrative sector
Customer minded
Strong communication skills, flexible, quality minded and stress resistant
Team player, problem solver, able to guide team within tight deadlines
Fluent in Dutch and English (written and oral)
Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word,Excel)
