Job Description:


Overview


As an Enterprise Data Architect at Devoteam Digital Impulse, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative data solutions for our clients.

Your expertise in data architecture and your ability to understand and leverage cutting-edge technologies will enable us to deliver exceptional value to our clients' businesses.

You will work closely with our clients, project managers, and development teams to create scalable and efficient data architectures that meet their unique requirements.

This role requires a deep understanding of data management principles, a strong technical acumen, and excellent communication skills.


Key Responsibilities

Data Strategy Development:


  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop data strategies aligned with their business goals and objectives.
  • Define the overall data architecture, including data modelling, integration, storage, and security.

Data Solution Design:


  • Design and implement scalable and efficient data solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Create data models, data flow diagrams, and data integration strategies to ensure effective data management and utilisation.

Technology Evaluation and Selection**:


  • Research and evaluate new and emerging technologies in the data space.
  • Recommend appropriate tools, platforms and frameworks to optimise data architecture and enhance overall performance.

Data Governance and Security:


  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks and best practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Define data access controls, data retention policies, and data privacy guidelines.

Collaboration and Consultation:


  • Collaborate with project managers, data engineers, data scientists and business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert insights and recommendations on datarelated matters.

Performance Optimization:


  • Analyse and optimise data architecture for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to enhance data processing and retrieval efficiency.

Documentation and Communication:


  • Document data architecture designs, specifications, and processes.
  • Prepare clear and concise technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Enterprise Data Architect or similar role in a consulting or technology services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of data management principles, data architecture design patterns, and data modelling techniques.
  • Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), data integration tools, and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
  • Expertise in data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and clients.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and stay uptodate with industry trends.
  • Fluent in Dutch or French and a very good command of English
