Job Purpose and Impact:

The Application Engineer will focus on innovation and product development within the company's ingredient portfolio.

In this role, you will support new product development initiatives and help move ingredients from concept to commercialization while collaborating with other technical and business teams, including the sensory group.

Key Accountabilities:

Work with marketing and sales to meet customer needs and make technical presentations to customers.
Work with customers and business partners to identify and deliver on dedicated project opportunities.
Assist with product demonstrations and serve as the domain expert during meetings with prospective customers.
Track product issues and report data to product development teams.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience working in beverage food science formulation
Minimum of two years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Able and willing to work on product development using novel and/or nonGRAS food ingredients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledgeable about techniques in sensory science following current trends and developments
