The Interventional Systems division provides high quality, cutting-edge solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, and interventional procedures performed inside blood vessels.

We pursue therapies that minimize physical burden on patients. We offer diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for coronary and peripheral diseases, and oncological indications.


Job Summary:


The overall responsibility of the EMEA Product Manager, TIS Solutions & Innovation, is to develop, implement and manage marketing programs and product/solution mix, focusing on the non-clinical customer segment and the value-based solutions and propositions for TIS EMEA, to differentiate our portfolio and solutions for both clinical and non-clinical customers and to grow revenue.

In this case, the product scope is Terumo Interventional Systems (Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Interventions and Interventional Oncology)


Responsibilities:


1. Marketing and business planning

  • Ensure delivery of the EMEA marketing strategy together with the Group Marketing Manager TIS Solutions & Innovation. Ensure that the marketing tactics are cascaded down to the local organizations in a timely manner.
  • Implement and execute the marketing programs in relation to the promotion of assigned products, solutions and initiatives.
  • Benchmark competition, particularly with regard to innovative business models, approach to the nonclinical customer segment and product/solution combinations. Analyse and research competitive strategies, portfolios and marketing techniques.

2. Promotional activities and portfolio management

  • Develop marketing materials/tools and customer education programs to implement key strategies, including product/solution support and promotional tools: brochures, flyers, catalogues, videos, case reports etc.
  • Contribute to the Terumo digital transformation to develop multichannel plans including social media and Showpad content and analysis of results.
  • Liaise with Marketing Communications Team to ensure consistency of marketing materials with Terumo communication policy, branding and compliance.
  • Develop KPIs for marketing activities and review quarterly to adapt plans when necessary. Use the Terumo CRM tool to develop, implement and track marketing activities and campaigns.
  • Analyse, interpret and communicate clinical and/or health economic data relevant to the product/solutions/initiative to maximize the impact on customer decision making.
  • Prepare and present initiative updates to sales and marketing team on monthly meetings.
  • Contribute actively to the Terumo brand image through communicating actively and effectively with third parties (participation in conferences etc.)
  • Ensure alignment and synergy with the Access and Closure, Therapeutics and Interventional Oncology teams.

3. Product, solution/initiative management

  • Provide input on forecast, inventory planning and supply chain management for portfolio if/when relevant as part of a pathway or solution, coordinating with the relevant Product Manager(s).
  • Support sales branches as technical expert for solutions (eg digital 'products')
  • Support the field sales force to monitor trends and to improve market intelligence.
  • Where possible, and if relevant, create monthly market share analysis for solutions portfolio and prepare data for annual plan and ad hoc reporting.
  • Monitor and review KPIs (sales revenue and market share) for products/solutions.
  • Prepare monthly sales comments for portfolio.
  • If relevant as part of a Solutions portfolio, monitor, track and act as portfolio lead for complaint and recall handling quality process maintain awareness of PPRs for portfolio products. Highlight and report negative trends when necessary.
  • Work with the Market Access team to optimize reimbursement and access opportunities.
  • Develop customer and field relationship through field visits, customer engagement and Cath lab presence.

4. New products/solutions

  • Participate as key cross functional team member for product combinations/solution launches and develop launch plans (as applicable).
  • Perform field evaluation of new products/solutions. Undertake Post Market Surveillance as required for product portfolio (as cross functional team with Regulatory Affairs and Medical Affairs).
  • Support new business development requests for market or competitor information.
