    1. Providing solution-oriented advice on all trade compliance-related issues as they arise.
    2. Leading key initiatives for the Trade Compliance Programme, currently under development with support from Big 4 advisors.
    3. Identifying and minimizing Trade Compliance Risks.
    4. Reviewing relevant legal and regulatory developments impacting the business.
    5. Conducting trade compliance and systems training for management and employees.
    6. Collaborating cross-functionally with employees at all levels to ensure efficient integration and implementation of the Trade Compliance Programme.
    7. Serving as the primary contact for external service providers and authorities regarding customs and foreign trade matters, and liaising with all internal departments on customs and foreign trade issues.
    8. Providing support in establishing consistent standards to ensure proper tariff and export control classification.
    9. Coordinating with business and functional department members to implement business-level controls.
    10. Ensuring that trade compliance requirements are understood and integrated into transactional routines through identifying training needs, coordinating internal communication initiatives, organizing stakeholder training, conducting audits, and overseeing self-assessments.
    11. Excellent knowledge of applicable trade regulations, including import/export restrictive measures, AML, and CFT regulations.
    12. 4-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience gained in customs administrations, industrial and/or consulting companies, focusing on Trade Compliance and related legal bases (EU, UN, UK, US, DE [to be confirmed]).
    13. Specific experience in Export Control (including dual-use goods, embargo regulations, asset freeze restrictions, and other product/business partner-related Sanctions), Import Clearance, Export Clearance, and Customs Processes [to be confirmed].
    14. University Degree (e.g., law, economics) or comparable education.
    15. Strong understanding of regulatory analysis and expertise in developing and implementing Trade-related Policies, Procedures, and Controls (such as Sanctions checks, Third-Party Due Diligence, etc.), as well as related IT applications.
    16. Strong motivation and ability to develop and successfully manage projects in a complex stakeholder environment.
    17. Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and deadlines within an international team.
    18. High service and solution orientation, as well as reliability.
    19. Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
    20. Entrepreneurial thinking and willingness to familiarize oneself with new topics.
    21. Fluent in English.

    Assignment between 6 and 12 months depending on the progress of the project.
