A new boutique hotel group is coming to Brussels _

We are coming to the Brussels' market and we are coming strong.
We are currently refurbishing 3 hotels to open between june 2023 and march 2024.

To make this big project a succesful one, we are looking for motivated souls to be amazing hosts

What are we expecting from you ?_

As a receptionist, you are the company's representative to the guests - you need to be awesome

You are responsible for welcoming the guest, carrying out various administrative tasks and also maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the public areas.

Your attitude represents and conveys our amazing philosophy to our guests.
We expect you to be cheerful, friendly, welcoming,... In short, we want you to convey happiness and an amazing guest experience

More seriously, here is a list of the tasks that fall under your responsibility:

You will be working in shifts.
Welcome and take care of the guest from arrival to departure according to internal procedures and the level of service requested by your managers.
Your work will be focused on guest service in order to meet internal standards.
You will be responsible for the closing and invoicing of the clients' stays.
You will be responsible for the management of the guest service department.
You will manage the reception's telephone and the hotel's mailbox.
You will be in charge of managing the cash register and financial transactions during your shift.
You will carry out various administrative tasks as required by your superiors.
You will actively participate in the marketing of the hotel by converting indirect clients into direct clients.
You will make a maximum of proposals for complementary services whether it be for breakfast, the bar or the car park.
You will work in tandem with the cleaning and breakfast team to maintain cleanliness and order in the lobby.
You will be the daytoday point of contact with the housekeeping team.
You will restock the selfservice area, the breakfast area and the bar.
You are responsible for the service in the hotel bar.
You control the quality of the work of the cleaning team.
You are responsible to support or carry out any task required to deliver breakfast to the guests in line with the Hotel F&B strategy.
During the night shifts, you are in charge of the preparation of the hotel's breakfast.
During the night shifts, you will clean the reception area to ensure a clean lobby and breakfast area for the guest.

Who are we looking for?_

You are a hospitality fellow:
you love to welcome people at home, you're a true host.
Having a hospitality degree is an advantage
You speak French, English & Dutch
You can work autonomously and you are stress resistant
You have the habit to work with a computer
A first experience in the hospitality industry or with OTA's extranet is an advantage
