Function

As Key Account Manager, you manage the various aspects of the relationship between Elia and the grid users in your portfolio.

You liaise with grid users, provide them with quality services and follow up on all their queries. You continuously strive to maximize customer satisfaction and build a lasting and solid relationship with grid users. The customer group assigned to you in this position consists of industrial grid users across the country.

Your main activities include:

Managing client relationships:

You are THE customer's point of contact. You answer his questions and solve his problems.

You maintain the overall overview of the customer's interventions and act as SPOC, you follow up the projects and are available to the customer.

You obviously make sure that you stay informed about the customer's projects, the evolutions of the network developments with impact on your customers,...

Elaboration of solutions:

You study the customer's needs and propose a solution or concept to him. For this, you enter into dialogue with the customer and think along with the customer.

You analyze and integrate the various elements, you ensure coordination with the other departments, including Grid Development, Energy Management and Legal, and you defend the proposed solutions to the other internal departments involved.

Contracting:

In collaboration with Legal, you draft contracts (including connection, access and maintenance agreements, etc.) and negotiate them with customers. You make the necessary amendments and conclude them. Then you are responsible for the follow-up of the concluded contracts.

Management of questions and complaints:

You take the necessary actions to offer the most adapted answer to the customer as soon as possible (advice, information, action...).

Customer Data Management:

You ensure that client files are complete and correct. You record the information in the appropriate systems and transfer the information to the relevant departments.

External representation and communication:

You introduce the market to Elia and its products and services, and you defend Elia's interests.

Transversal responsibility:

Based on your experience in the field, you identify deficiencies. You propose improvements to adapt the process, products, services and tools. You actively participate in transversal projects within Elia.
Your Profile

You are an industrial, civil or commercial engineer.

You have 5 years of work experience of which at least 3 years in the energy sector.

You are bilingual (FR-NL) and you have a good knowledge of English.

You have experience in managing customers. Experience in managing client portfolios in a complex environment is a plus.

You enjoy taking an active role in transversal projects.

You have a strong sense of responsibility, you can work autonomously, you are customer-oriented and you know how to organize yourself well.
