About the role


The mission of this role is to create outstanding foundational support and execute a commercial data strategy that will enable data-driven actionable insights from advanced analytics that create high impact patient value.


As a
Data Foundations Lead you will have full comprehension of current and new data sources that will allow integrating primary market research results with data analytics and other information to derive key insights and conclusions advancing the company vision to proactive predictive analytics, opportunities identification and capability development to enable future organizational decisions and successful launches.


Under direction of the Data Strategy and Foundations Head, the incumbent will be assigned to co-create/implement the data asset strategy & foundation agenda within the Global Advanced Analytics Engine - the centre of excellence and delivery for strategic, tactical, and operational guidance, expertise, and execution capacity, providing knowledge and actionable insights to drive objective, evidence-based decision-making leveraging data and advanced analytics.


The
Data Foundations Lead will be responsible for enabling exceptional business impact through expert knowledge and enablement of data assets - enabling an increased use of data and, where applicable, reducing the necessity for building primary data.


The lead will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring our longterm data strategy needs are properly enabled by our partners.
  • Advising our data scientists on the appropriate data source usage with full information on strengths and weaknesses of the data source.
  • Partnering to ensure access to data, analytic tools and platforms are ideally matched to the needs of the data scientists.

What you'll do

Data expertise. Provide clear expertise for data selection to leverage advanced analytics, especially where they are advantageous to reducing the need for primary data or have high marginal impact

Create an exceptional user experience to enable data scientists to perform the most impactful data and analytics projects

Partnership and Collaboration. Ensure tight relationships and collaboration with IT, Data Office, and other Analytics teams using relevant data sources.

Drive the execution of projects and processes that enable the best end user experience.


Interested? For this role we're looking for the following
education, experience,
and
skills

  • Master/Doctor's degree in quantitative area is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience working with various forms of pharmaceutical data.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience partnering to create an exceptional user experience for data access, cleansing, tools etc.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry is a must.
  • Thrive working in a fastpaced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
  • You possess strong creativity in piecing together disparate data sets to solve business questions and you are a structured problem solver.
  • You must also be able to lend expertise on the interpretation of model results based upon the data source analysed.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • You have an agile mindset and love to testandlearn.
  • You are a can tailor your communication style to technical and nontechnical audiences alike.
  • You can create creative solutions to technical and organizational roadblocks that can immerge.
  • You are driven by impact.
