    What You Can Expect:

    • Manage general accounting tasks
    • Handle reconciliations of accounts, payroll entries, provisions, and intercompany positions
    • Assist with monthly and yearly closing activities (financial statements and tax obligations)
    • Support external audits and ensure their smooth execution
    • Participate in preparing reports and budgets
    • Assist in fleet and HR management
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives

    When needed, you will step in for the accountant to perform day-to-day accounting activities such as:

    • Customer and supplier ledger follow-up
    • Bank reconciliations
    • VAT filings (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France)
    • Intrastat reporting
    • ...

    What You Bring to the Table:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Taxation, or a related financial field
    • At least 5 years of experience
    • General knowledge of IFRS, Belgian GAAP, Dutch GAAP is advantageous
    • Experience with international intercompany transactions (not mandatory)
    • Excellent MS Office skills, SAP proficiency is a bonus
    • Strong proficiency in verbal and written communication in Dutch, French, English. Knowledge of German is a bonus
    • Adherence to ethical standards for a productive collaboration and pleasant company culture
    • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, demonstrate analytical thinking, ensure quality and accuracy, assume ownership, show flexibility
    • Warm personality, strong communication skills, diplomatic, and discreet
    • Positive attitude, collegiality, and team player mindset
