The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit, medical society. It is an independent, non-governmental organisation.
The ESC is a source of high quality, evidence-based science that pushes the boundaries of cardiovascular medicine.

Our members and decision-makers are healthcare professionals who give their time and expertise freely, while continuing their daily, high-paced clinical and/or research work.

ESC volunteers are world-renowned experts; their opinions are routinely sought and their papers regularly published and referenced.

The ESC coordinates observational registries, creates clinical practice guidelines, and organises and endorses educational programmes. We disseminate robust and independent science through our congresses, journals and educational digital tools. We're the voice of the cardiology community when advocating for heart-health policies, regulations and funding.

The ESC employs +220 staff, based in Nice and Brussels, who support ESC volunteers in the development and management of these activities.

The ESC is currently looking for a
Junior Project Manager for an undetermined contract, CDI, as soon as possible to work at in our offices in Brussels, Belgium.

As part of the European Heart Health Institute team of health data and project manager experts, your main mission is to manage projects focused on health economics in cardiology in order to facilitate decision regarding budget assignment.

The objective is to coordinate the day-to-day activities of cardiovascular data collection-based projects.

• Efficiently management of cardiology based projects, defining objectives, monitoring execution, collecting statistics, and disseminating results while overseeing stakeholders, in adherence to ESC policies in order to provide scientific evidence.
• Presentation and dissemination of the database in order to liaise and network with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Participation in current and potential new data based research projects in collaboration with a wide range of partners in order to strengthening the ESC position in this field

Profile:

• Hard skills:_
• BSc or MSc degree in sciences or related field
• Minimum 2 years work experience in relevant academic, policy, consulting or industry setting
• Experience working with KOL
• Project Management experience preferably in scientific projects
• The health economics dimension or scientific mindset similar is an asset
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Soft skills:_
• Selfdriven and multitask oriented with international understanding
• Capacity to interact and build relations with very diverse stakeholders
• Previous experience with data manipulation, data reporting and data visualisation

Contract details:

Position based in Brussels - Permanent contract

Conditions:

Fixed salary + 13,92th month

Full time, 40h/week

20 annual leaves + 12 extra days off / year

Lunch vouchers card

Possibility of teleworking up to 3 days a week, after two months' integration at ESC + fixed daily allowance
