    We are seeking a skilled Workplace Engineer to join our Employee Experience Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing an efficient, digital working environment that meets the needs of our clients' users. Your main responsibility will be to determine and configure the continued evolution of client images, including the necessary OS functionalities, drivers, and patches.

    As a Workplace Engineer, you are part of a team (Employee Experience Management) that is responsible for developing an efficient, digital working environment that meets the needs of the users within our clients:

  • You determine and configure the further evolution of the various client images with the necessary OS functionalities, drivers and patches. All this should be installed automatically as much as possible, both during the staging of the device and afterwards.
  • You maintain and evolve the software distribution tool (SCCM) for workstations, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • You are responsible for the complete workplace lifecycle management.
  • You are responsible for the software packaging and for the software distribution to the relevant distribution points. You ensure correct CMDB information and reporting regarding the end points.
  • You manage the Active Directory aspects regarding users.
  • Since remote working has become evident, you are responsible for specific aspects such as the management and maintenance of VPN, remote control in case of problems, etc.
  • You are responsible for the daily management of the security solutions on the devices of the end users.
  • You are part of the core team that is responsible for meeting the functional expectations, the quality and the so-called "collaboration tools" such as Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Onedrive, SharePoint...) that support the users of our client in their daily work.
  • Solving second- and third-line problems that are escalated by the IT service desk regarding workstation software and hardware installations.
    your profile Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent through experience)
  • Good knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Active Directory (AD), OS Windows Workstations (Windows 10), GPOs, Microsoft Patching, Software Center, Application scripting & deployment.
  • Knowledge of and experience with PC and IT office environment, including Windows and Office 365 applications, ITIL based processes, Incident Management and Service Request handling is also an asset.
  • Languages: Native Dutch, good level in French and English Soft skills:
  • You are IT Technically strong, but you also help to guide and help colleagues as best as possible in working with the professional applications, tools, and devices they use or need daily.
  • You are flexible for interventions all over Belgium (you are disposing of a car driving license). Remote work is possible 3 days/week.
  • You are officially living in Belgium since the 5 last years and you are disposing of a certificate of good conduct delivered by Belgian authorities.
  • You speak and understand both national languages (Dutch and French) and you have knowledge of technical English.
