_Wielant_ is a residential care center that is part of Korian BE. We are one of the major players in the private market within elderly care, with over 120 facilities in Belgium. _Wielant is located in Anzegem, surrounded by nature._

Your new responsibilities:

Searching for a colleague with a caring heart and a passion for elderly care. Someone who enjoys working with the elderly in a dynamic environment. A person who likes to smile and doesn't take life too seriously. If that sounds like you, then you might be the one we are looking for.

As an occupational therapist, you will help create a homely environment for residents where optimal care and support can be linked to the physical, psychological, and social well-being of the residents and their family members. You will collaborate with nurses and/or caregivers.

Guiding residents in regaining, improving, and/or maintaining their functioning and independence through activities of daily living.
Providing an adapted interactive approach and a warm environment through sensory stimulation, relaxation therapy, multisensory stimulation, aromatherapy, etc.

Required degree: Professional Bachelor in Occupational Therapy
Work experience: no experience required
Good command of the Dutch language
Communication skills & active listening
Customer-oriented
Planning and organizing
Working independently
Collaborating as a cohesive team
Attention to detail
Flexibility - Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
Inventiveness - Creative thinking
Positive attitude
Constant focus on customer satisfaction and working with a resident and/or family-centric approach
