Vandewiele has been a renowned machine builder for many years, a market leader in the development, construction and installation of high-tech and innovative carpet and velvet weaving machines.

We dare to invest in extensive automation for both production and logistics and are known for making bold, sometimes unique choices, not least in the field of FMS systems. To further strengthen our production team, we are currently looking for a CNC programmer (M/F).

Your role:

Na een inloopperiode waarin je de processen en technologieën leert kennen, sta je in voor de werkvoorbereiding en de programmatie van de CNC- gestuurde machines binnen onze Flexible Manufacturing Systemen (FMS) met voornamelijk machining centers en draai
- en freesinstallaties.

Het doel van de functie is om een kwaliteitsvolle automatische productie te realiseren die tot een maximale output leidt.


Hierbij bestaat jouw takenpakket uit:

  • Analysing the 3D model of the parts to be finished
  • Selection of the most suitable tools for finishing
  • Design of the most suitable clamping jigs in 3D
  • Development of the finishing program including measuring cycles with the 3D programming system, in order to measure the finished parts in process and monitor the tools
  • Monitoring the quality of your work through close consultation with production staff and colleagues.

Your profile:


  • You have a Bachelor's or TSO degree in mechanics or electromechanics or equivalent through experience.
  • You have experience in programming machining operations, 3D drawing systems and the current Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Knowledge of PTC Creo, Pro Manufacturing or Esprit is a plus.
  • You have a handson mentality and are resultsoriented.
  • You are willing to upgrade your practical knowledge on the machine during the familiarisation period.
  • You are a team player but can also work autonomously.
  • You are stressresistant and can set the necessary priorities.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and have operational knowledge of French and English (or you are willing to perfect this knowledge).
