Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Review and validation of deliverables under the monitoring contract tasks.
  • Support to reinvent the monitoring mechanism, built upon Art.° 20 of the Interoperable Europe Act proposal.
  • Support the implementation of the Interoperable Europe Act proposal including work with Member States, Chief Information Officer (CIO) network, as well as the Interoperability Expert Group.
  • Contribution to the labelled solutions, in the context of the future Act.
  • Contribution to interservice discussions on the digital/interoperability aspects of an upcoming policy proposal.
  • Formulation of advice on specific policy proposals.
  • Regular reporting to the project officer.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's level or 3 years of higher education.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Senior level networking & negotiation skills, especially in negotiations with the Council.
  • Very good knowledge of interoperability policy and good understanding of the proposal for an Interoperable Europe Act, as well as what it entails in terms of monitoring and solutions.
  • Ability to work with highlevel groups, namely CIO network, Interoperability Expert Group, as well as diverse meetings with Member States.
  • Experience in different monitoring mechanisms other than NIFO, such as the Berlin Declaration.
  • Very good understanding of the GovTech incubator initiative, also as a catalyst for labelled solutions, in the context of the Act.
  • Ability to process complex documentation efficiently and fast.
  • Ability to give business and technical presentations.
  • Very good communication skills with technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
- _Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self[1]starting capability and experience in working in team. _
- _Ability to participate in multilingual meetings. _
- _Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects. _
- _Excellent Team Player. _
- _Ability to understand, speak and write in English (C1/C2), while to do so in French (B2) will be an advantage. _
- _High degree of discretion and integrity_
