The Director of Sales (US) for Corinthia Brussels will be responsible for promoting the hotel and its extensive facilities towards the US market alongside the Director of Sales (ROW).

This role will develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to source, develop and manage business for Corinthia Brussels in the related markets to drive revenue and achieve sales targets, while building and maintaining client relationships and attending trade shows and FAM trips as necessary.


Be part of the opening team for this exciting project in Brussels, and drive awareness and energy for Brussels' most fabulous address, including a luxury hotel but so much more; from a 1000sqm spa, gastronomic restaurant and brasserie, to a members club and retail concept space.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to source, develop and manage business for Corinthia Brussels in partnership with the DOSM for the US market, focused on driving ADR, and creating a clear value proposition
  • Develop and execute a strategic Sales plan for the preopening and opening period of the hotel
  • Provide guidance in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding the customer base within the related markets
  • Implementation and administration of the sales budget, together with the establishment of annual sales goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders with a focus on longterm, valuebased relationships serving as the key sales contact for the property by connecting virtually and face to face through site inspections, sales trips, trade shows and appropriate social media
  • Establish strong working relationships with Preferred Partner agencies (such as Virtuoso, FHR)
  • Drive and coordinate sales activity to develop & maintain new accounts within the related markets
  • Work closely with regional Sales teams (GSO) to maximise visibility for the property
  • Where required, attend [local and] regional customer events and trade shows to maintain, build or develop key accounts
  • Deliver sales operational tasks including site inspections, contracts, customer liaison and proposals
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality, service and overall satisfaction, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to operations
  • Assist in organizing familiarisation trips for Corinthia Brussels for related markets
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure compelling and onbrand sales presentations, proposals, and promotional materials and ensures to maintain detailed knowledge of the property
  • Align with Marketing and Revenue teams to activate communications in line with target markets and booking patterns, including visibility with preferred partners to achieve room night and revenue targets
  • Stay up to date and report on competitor activity and market trends within the related markets and feed back to key stakeholders to capitalize on potential revenuegenerating opportunities
  • Responsible for maintaining the client database in the Customer Relationship Management platform
  • Drive direct sales and reservations, and preferred partner programs
  • Contribute to strategic Revenue Management initiatives and provide input on overall sales strategy
  • Deliver required reporting in a timely manner and attends regular departmental meetings

EXPERIENCE

  • 35 years in a senior sales role for a luxury property
  • Experience working for a top luxury hotel with a deep understanding of the luxury hotel sector and customer preferences required
  • Strong understanding of luxury leisure sales
  • An advanced knowledge of designated markets with existing client relationships in these territories
