Introduction

Skills, knowledge, experience required:

Experience in supporting complex migration programs, within a highly regulated and governed environment;
Project management/coordination/costing experience;
Significant knowledge of:
IT security, also for cloud based solutions;
Cloud services management and costing;
Strong ability to work in a team and transfer knowledge to internal staff;
Persistence in moving activities forward.

Desirable:

Cloud certifications.

Duties/role:

Evaluating and identifying the best cloud solutions for the organization among existing and future NATO Enterprise IT provider proposals;
Identifying roles and responsibilities (RACI) for all cloud proposals (migrations and support);
Assessing the impact of cloud migration on our current SLA with the NHQ IT infrastructure services provider, the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA);
Analysing security policies and their impact on cloud migration initiatives and their accreditations, with the support of our IT Architects;
Reviewing and validating NCIA‐provided options for compliance with the requirements;
Producing a business case detailing each option with a SWOT analysis including among others cost, timelines, risks and issues to support ICTM Management decisions;
Engaging closely with NCIA to propose and establish details of the migration solution options (involve potential other project stakeholder as advisors);
Supporting the migration activities, if deemed required;
