Since 2013 there is an office in Brussels, which works in close collaboration with the Paris branch. The Brussels-Paris team is now about 60 employees, consisting of experienced project managers, engineers, architects, draughtsmen and administrative staff.

The office handles large-scale assignments independently, not only in Belgium and France but also in other countries, such as the United States, Norway and Switzerland.

A number of examples of projects in Belgium are the Provinciehuis in Antwerp with Xaveer De Geyter Architects, the Labyrinth in Genk with Gijs Van Vaerenbergh, footbridge Tondo with OFFICE KGDVS, the new fire station in Dilbeek with Studio SNCDA, or the new car park in Ghent with Havan-a.

The Brussels office offers you a challenging position as a technical designer in the CAD/BIM team to work on interesting projects with internationally renowned architects.

In collaboration with structural and façade engineers, you take charge of technical representation and development of the project, overall plans and details (concrete, steel & timber), ensuring the coordination with the plans of the architects.

During the construction phase, you may also be required to do construction site monitoring.


Requirements:


  • Experience in a structural engineering office
  • Degree in Architecture or Engineering with strong knowledge of structures.
  • Software: Autocad, Revit, Rhinoceros (grasshopper) is an advantage.
  • Fluent in speaking and writing English, Dutch and French are an advantage.
  • Motivation, personal commitment, and capacity to work in a team.
  • A fascination by and an understanding of the relationship between architecture and structure.
