    Purpose of the position

    As a Planning Officer, you are responsible for producing the rosters for all Ground Services personnel in a timely manner, to minimize costs whilst maintaining the required resource and skill levels. In order to do so, you will liaise with other departments to identify and resolve resourcing related issues, and you will use supporting systems in order to oversee future abstractions of resources.

    Main tasks & responsibilities

  • Produce efficient rosters for airport staff within agreed production deadlines and distribute to staff and managers as required.
  • Ensure cover and skill levels are maintained throughout the airport teams and provide resource options to managers where levels are not met.
  • Record and monitor the 'off track & unproductive time', including training, medicals and ad hoc leave.
  • Maintain and update accurate records for the airport teams, including equalization, annual leave, rest days, and Sundays.
  • Assist with data compilation to support budget and forecast production.
  • Assist with the scheduling of staff for training and other release as required, ensuring costs are within forecast and kept to a minimum.

  • Professional Bachelor or equal through experience
  • Relevant experience in the field of airline ground operations
  • Good communication, negotiation, motivational skills
  • Proficient in: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word applications
  • Fluency in English, Dutch and French required
  • Excellent attention to detail
