WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

_EU Institutions:
IT Business Analyst_

YOUR TASKS

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Identifying business needs and determining solutions to business problems
Requirements/needs management and tracking
Create Vision and Business Case documents or contribute in developing Vision and Business Case documents
Modeling business processes
Functional requirements and business cases analysis
Risk analysis
Create and maintain documentation of business requirements and solutions using appropriate documentation standards
Provide input for the software development process
Tracking of the activities against the plan and provision of reports
Review of project deliverables
Provision of expert opinion, advice and recommendations
Participation in meetings both internal and meetings with contractors and stakeholders

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

Good knowledge of information systems matters
Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes
Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.)
Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or others with equivalent value
Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites
Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile)

The following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above-listed tasks:

Excellent organisational and soft skills with the ability to deliver high quality results
Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes
Good knowledge of iterative project management methodologies (e.g. Agile)
Good knowledge of business analysis, modelling, tools and techniques (use case diagrams, state diagrams, entity relationship model etc)
Experience in product scope definition, requirements elaboration, experience in negotiation with actors from the business and IT community, as well as technical knowledge in specific areas (e.g. UML modelling)
Ability to give business and technical presentations
Very good communication skills with technical and nontechnical audiences
Analysis and problemsolving skills
Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills
Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability and experience in working in team
Ability to make presentations to Member State Authorities and other stakeholders, excellent communicator
Ability to participate in multilingual meetings
Ability to work in multicultural environment, on multiple large projects
Excellent Team Player
Very good ability to understand, speak and write in very good English (C1/C2), knowledge of any other language will be an advantage
