We are looking for a
Master Data Specialist to join us in our Internal Manufacturing organization based in
Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.


About the role:

The position is based in the UCB laboratories and offices at the Braine-l'Alleud campus.


As The Master Data Specialist, you play an integral role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our organization's critical data across various systems and Manufacturing.

Your position involves managing and maintaining the core information necessary for operations and decision making.


By overseeing the entry, update, and quality control of this information, you support Planning, Scheduling & Procurement teams within BTO Supply Chain Department, in executing your functions efficiently and effectively.


You facilitate smooth operations, accurate reporting, and reliable analytics, making you role an essential part of the team that helps maintain the organization's data infrastructure.


What you will do:


As Master Data Specialist you will:

  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of master data across various systems, SAP, SAP4HANA, OMP and ANAPLAN
  • Implement and manage data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Collaborate with IT to develop and enhance data models that improve data analytics and reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with business units to collect and maintain accurate manufacturing datas during Life cycle of our Products
  • Perform regular data quality checks and audits to identify and correct discrepancies or inconsistencies in the master data.
  • Facilitate the entry of new master data records, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and accurately inputted into the system.
  • Develop and provide training to endusers on master data management processes and best practices to ensure proper data entry and maintenance.
  • Lead crossfunctional projects to consolidate, clean, and optimize master data across the organization.
  • Design and implement custom reports and dashboards for stakeholders to monitor the health and status of master data

For this position you'll need the following education, experience
and skills**:

  • You have a Master's degree or a Bachelor"s degree with equivalent experience
  • You have 5 years minimum of experience in Supply Chain with past proved experience in Planning activities Experience in SAP & OMP+ or demonstrated capability to adopt ERP systems in place.
  • A background in pharma Operations is a plus
  • You have an analytical mindset, KPI and Result Driven
  • You have demonstrated Planning Master datas management capabilities
  • An ability to learn fast within a complex environment
  • You are sensitive to the cost controlling dimension of the job
  • You are a rigorous person, able to go from High view to very detailed view
  • You have the ability to influence others at all level of the organization
  • You are capable of challenging ideas and providing Feedback in a constructive way
  • You are a strong Team Player
