Become our Global Graduate Trainee in R&D Chocolate Processing and join our rapidly growing, global team:

Over the course of our
3-year Graduate Trainee program, you have the opportunity to take part in 3 annual rotations within our
Research & Development Chocolate
Processing Departments (Upstream Research and SBU Chocolate), including a
mission abroad.

Responsibilities:

You are responsible for the handson
screening and exploration (research stage) of
emerging and disruptive processing technologies to support product innovation and continuous improvement in chocolate processing in close collaboration with technology suppliers.
You investigate and
develop innovative, energyefficient and lean processes to support our Taste, Health and Sustainable Leadership ambition in chocolate. You have a keen interest in the different leverages to support this business strategy and are able to put these different elements in the right perspective in a business case, together with our BU and business controllers. You maintain ethical and highquality standards when selecting the right suppliers to go to development phase.
As Trainee, you will collaborate both with
international stakeholders of the Upstream Research Department, the SBU Chocolate, Group and Local Engineering and
external stakeholders within the processing area (f.e. technology providers, research centers, governmental bodies, etc.).

The goal of our program is to prepare you on a path for talented, passionate professionals towards future leading roles within our company.

Each Graduate Trainee will be assigned to an expert Mentor, who will ensure you receive all the continuous support and training you need to be successful during your 3 annual rotations.

After your 3-year graduate program you move to an exciting role within Puratos to build further your career within our global business.

Who are we looking for?

A
Master's Degree from a University with excellent academic track record (Bio, Civil or Industrial Engineering, or relevant) and a handson mindset.
A first work or Internship experience, preferably in the Food, FMCG or in a similar industry
Drive for innovation, teamwork, flexibility and achievement orientation
Interdependent mindset with influencing skills within a nonhierarchical setting
Engagement and Passion for the Food industry and working in pilot/production environments
Be fully mobile to work in different global business areas/ locations

Be fully business-fluent in English (French, Dutch and/or other European languages highly advantageous)
