Freelance Microstrategy Expert - Brussels, België - Dark Light

Dark Light is specialized in staffing data & BI projects. For one of our clients, we are looking for a Microstrategy Expert in Brussels. You will be part of the finance reporting team in the context of further optimizing the BI environment. The project will take at least 6 months, with a possible extension.

Tasks

Currently the reporting environment is based on SAP BO using data which is stored in SAP BW Cubes integrating data from SAP FICO. The objective towards the future among others is to migrate the reports written in SAP BO to Microstrategy reports & dashboards.

As Microstrategy expert, you are responsible to help the finance reporting to migrate the performance reports & dashboards from SAP BO to Microstrategy reports.

Key responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the migration of the performance reports from SAP BO to Microstrategy
• You analyze the AS IS reports in close collaboration with the reporting experts to understand business requirements
• You perform the user acceptance testing of the reports migrated
• You drive & challenge timelines & team resources for the change management programs (with business & IT stakeholders)
• You help guide the report maangement users so they can migrate efficiently to the new reporting environment (training, user guidance, ...)

Requirements

• You have at least 3 years of experience with Microstrategy
• Ideally, you have experience with SAP BO and/or SAP BW
• You have experience and/or affinity with finance reporting
• You have great communication skills and project management skills
• You speak fluent English and Dutch and/or French
