    About the role:

    The Cluster IT Manager is part of a Local IT team and it is responsible for theoperation of all IT and Communication systems in our Leased and Managed hotels inBelgium and Lille/France.

    The IT function isconsidered a support function to the primary operation of the company. It istherefore important that the Cluster IT Manager view his/her position in thatlight and acts as a service function within the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Execution of established Hotel IT Activities to ensure smooth operation of our hotels.
  • Understands the overall objectives and architectural aspects of all IT systems to ensuring that all IT functions and disciplines are controlled, audited ensuring system efficiencies are attained
  • Systems administration and operation, including ensuring compliance with Corporate IT policies, ensuring daily operation, periodic preventive maintenance
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Implements IT strategies where objectives are communicated at all levels, the performance of system software and hardware is audited and reported upon to enables strategic business decisions to be made
  • Overview and Management of User IT Support ; working with External Partners to ensure quality of all levels of service.
  • User accounts maintenance
  • Project management
  • Training, including new hires, retraining of existing employees and maintenance of IT security awareness training
  • Hardware / Software inventory ; adequate documentation maintenance.
  • Planning, budgeting, and management consulting under the supervision of the Area IT Director.
  • Overall compliance, including for data-processing and PCI-DSS standards
  • Change Management

    • Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience from similar positions, such as IT management and people management
  • Ability to develop working relationships very quickly and gain confidence of business colleagues
  • Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written in both French and English.
  • Excellent forward planning and organization skills
  • Experience of influencing and coaching people
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Experience of setting and achieving targets and producing work of high quality to agreed deadlines and budgets
  • Able to hold a presentation to a smaller audience, such as the management group, employee groups etc.
  • Hospitality, travel or service related industries is a plus
  • Ability to travel throughout our hotels is a must
  • Work permit to work in Belgium is essential

    • Knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Products - Windows / Office
  • Network Infrastructures
  • Server and workstation hardware
  • Hospitality Guest Facing technologies expertise is a plus
  • IT security standards and implementation
  • PCI, GDPR
  • Project Management skills – ideally experience with managing and coordinating projects across several business units, departments and Countries
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships
