Context:


Role:


  • Manage and lead a team of Workstation Experts to provide comprehensive support for all workstationrelated issues and requirements within the GEMS IS Helpdesk team.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of the GEMS IS Helpdesk Team.
  • Develop and implement the GEMS Digital Workstations strategy, in collaboration with GBS IT. Ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements.
  • Establish and maintain control over the full portfolio of GEMS end points, including computers, tablets, mobile devices, and deployment tools.
  • Oversee the monitoring and management of tools such as Intune, Nexthink, Crowdstrike, and Zscaler.
  • Lead vulnerability management efforts to identify and remediate security risks.
  • Manage projects related to helpdesk activities, workstationrelated initiatives and transversal CORE IS activities.
  • Collaborate closely with GBS IT to ensure alignment on workstation operations with the broader IT organization.
  • Develop, measure, and report on departmentlevel KPIs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovation and process optimization.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.

Hard skills:


  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Citrix, and cloud computing platforms like Azure and AWS is a plus.
  • Knowledge of workstationrelated monitoring and management tools, such as Intune, Nexthink, Crowdstrike, and Zscaler.
  • Proven ability to manage critical projects with limited direct supervision
  • Exceptional communication skills with a passion for helping and empowering others

Soft skills:


  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate technical information, project updates, and procedures to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Education and professional background:


  • Experience in a trading or similar fastpaced, demanding environment is a plus

Languages:


  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in French
  • Proficient in Dutch

Travels:


  • Frequent travels between Brussels and Paris
