    Corporate Lawyer

    We are seeking a corporate lawyer to advise internal teams on all legal matters related to international transport, logistics, and customs brokerage activities.

    • Analyze and draft contracts (transport contracts, customer/supplier agreements, partnership agreements etc.).
    • Conduct legal monitoring on relevant sector regulations (transport customs Belgian and European social law).

    Pre-litigation and Litigation Management:

    • Identify assess and prevent legal risks.
    -Frequent tasks include analyzing drafts providing guidance on compliance with laws policies performing research preparing reports drafting contracts negotiating settlements working with external counsel managing conflicts developing strategies training employees.
    fiv years experience in this field including four years in commercial or transactional law -e.g contract negotiation mergers acquisitions securities finance intellectual property real estate tax employment labor antitrust environmental health safety etc In-depth knowledge of Belgian social/employment law is essential strong analytical skills ability manage multiple projects concurrently work effectively under pressure excellent communication writing public speaking presentation negotiation leadership abilities operate independently provide sound judgment make recommendations based analysis results maintain discretion handling confidential information while ensuring transparency accuracy diversity equity inclusion commitment ensure fair effective equal opportunity practices culture recommend hire retain promote develop leaders recognize potential talent connect collaborate network ideas propose innovative solutions grow sustain improve profitability performance operational efficiency continuously strive meet expectations anticipate emerging trends changes capitalize opportunities gain strategic competitive advantage , '
