- Based on the question, you select the appropriate analytics technique and dive into the data to find the answers

- You recognize when the team is getting into causality related questions after which you work together to create solid counterfactuals or test for causality so our conclusions and recommendations are correct

- A Master's degree that trained you in Statistics and Econometrics (such Econometrics, Business Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Quantitative Social Sciences or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of what makes good counterfactuals, causal inference. The passion to learn more on this topic and teach others.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques (classification, clustering, regression, ...)
- A hands-on mentality to really dive into the data and find the answers.
- Strong dataskills with knowledge of at least one coding language (Python, R ...). The willingness to learn Python, Pyspark and SQL if not yet proficient.
- Critical thinking and a problem-solving and result-driven mindset. A drive to manage an analytics initiative end to end, including effective storytelling and stakeholder management.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch/French is a bonus.

Do you have that reflex to want to test interesting findings for causality so you understand what is true and what would be the wrong conclusion to take?

This centralized team of six people focuses on:
Conducting in-depth data analysis to provide strategic insights and deliver actionable recommendations to address key business challenges. The main focus is always on explaining WHY things are happening and WHAT business should do differently to address the problem.
Setting standards and building frameworks to fundamentally improve how data analysis is done at Telenet.
As a team we always tackle these strategic and fundamental questions on a project basis with a small subteam.
