About our role:

Our client is a Flemisch governmental organisation looking for a talented and passionate individual to join their team as a Senior Product Owner.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving, defining and implementing the road map for a big digital portal.

What you will be doing:

Your main responsibility will be to develop and assure the vision and objectives of the digital product road map to which you will also contribute on a strategic level

You will be responsible for the progress of all team projects, releases and al related communication

You will be working closely with developers, the scrum master, analyst and the UX team

You will be responsible for maintain all relations with internal and external stakeholders

You will manage the backlog of the product team

You will contribute to the vision, the goals and you will make the digital portal future proof together with the stakeholders

What you bring:

You have solid experience, minimum 8 years, as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Business Developer and you have a PO certificate

You have a technical / ICT background, and solid professional experience in a similar environment

Gathering requirements, analysing them, asses their impact in the whole stakeholder field and define next steps are a part of your DNA

At least 2 years of experience in digital solutions in governmental sector are a must

You have past experience in project management

At least 2 years of experience in UX/UI are a big plus

Strong communication skills and a great analytical thinking

Strong communication skills (written and oral) in Dutch are a must
