- Developing vehicles and proposing concepts for EU core models
- Integrating EU technology into Toyota vehicles efficiently by leveraging location advantage and a strong network with EU partners
- Designing and developing parts to meet performance, quality, and cost objectives
- Exploring feasibility of style and collaborating with the Styling department to ensure viability
- Creating and maintaining specifications for hardware, software, mechanical, and electrical parts
- Developing 3D CAD models, installation, and production drawings
- Working with suppliers and Toyota stakeholders to ensure production feasibility
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and cooperating with the Homologation department
- Assisting plant production and quality engineers in addressing concerns during production trials or mass production
- Conducting competitive analysis on products and suggesting ideas for product and cost enhancements
- Fluency in English (TME business language)
- Masters in Mechatronics
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in Mechatronics parts development
- Proficiency with tools such as Catia for CAD, Matlab for modeling, Python for programming, and CANoe for CAN Bus simulation
- Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial engineering within automotive or mass production
- Willingness to travel for business regularly
