For our Diabetes Care division, we are recruiting a Quality Specialist Benelux to be based in our Wavre office.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 13485 and regulatory/ legal requirements
  • Report to the management on the performance of the QMS including the need for improvement
  • Ensure Quality System awareness and compliance in the Benelux
  • Maintain and challenge current certifications, assist, initiate and lead updates as required
  • Act as an expert for sales and customer support for accreditation topics, presentations and process implementation in sites where customer certification and accreditation is requested.
  • Coordinates communication between commercial organization and Regulatory to support responses in contracts and public tenders
  • Review Abbott policies and procedures and update Quality System documentation accordingly

Your Profile:

  • Master's degree, preferably with a scientific orientation
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the medical device industry
  • Quality Management Systems Certification is a plus
  • English, French and Dutch
