Function:

Mission
As Energy and Climate Manager you will be responsible for consistent implementation of energy projects for NLMK La Louvière.

You will contribute to get corporate CO2 offsets and increase our market share of green steel, reducing payments for CO2 allowance ( ETS).

Main responsibilities

Managing the climate/Energy strategy execution.
Analysing energy consumption and trends (CO2 influence).
Leading local energy efficiency team to develop energy efficiency projects and products.
Managing the energy efficiency project portfolio.
Supporting and developping the metering system.
Ensuring that our energy management system is compliant with certification based on DIRECTIVE (EU) 2023/179
Facilitating new climate/energy strategy development.
Ensuring compliance with quality, safety and environmental procedures.

Profile:

Background

Master degree in engineering (preference for an energyoriented speicialisation).
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in energy management, preferrably in technical department.
Knowledge of ISO 5001 certification (energy management).

Sense of organization and priorities.
Good analytical and summarizing skills.
Supplier engagement and management.
